Meet Halon, your AI SRE
Halon is Firefight's AI SRE, now on for every workspace. Ask it a question or ask it to do something, and it does the work the question needs before it answers, reading Firefight's own records and your connected tools and naming where each claim came from. See Halon.
Where you meet it. Open Chat under Halon in the dashboard sidebar, or mention @Firefight in an active incident's channel and Halon answers in the thread. Agents connected over MCP ask it with ask_halon. Every member can ask Halon without a grant, and an admin can take that away.
Acts as you. In a chat Halon works with exactly your permissions, so it never sees or changes more than you could. Reads go ahead without asking. A change waits for you to confirm it on a card, and approval rules still apply. Every call it makes is in Activity under Gateway.
Watch it work. Each step shows as it runs, such as Search logs · Production (Northflank), and folds away once the answer arrives. Keep typing while it works to steer it, or choose Stop to end the answer.
More than text. Metrics Halon reads are drawn as charts, in the dashboard and in Slack, with a link to the live chart where the provider has one. Attach a screenshot, a PDF or a log and Halon reads it as evidence. When a question needs a tool you have not connected, it shows the integrations of that kind with Connect.
Knows your providers. Halon reads each connected provider's own documentation, kept fresh every day, follows short skills Firefight writes for common tasks with each tool, and can search the web for a library's docs unless an admin turns that off.
See Chatting with Halon for everything the chat does.
