Halon tells you when it is done

Halon can now keep an eye on something after it answers. Ask it in a chat to tell you when a run finishes, or when a deploy starts and succeeds, and it checks about every minute until everything it follows is done, something fails or its time runs out. See Halon watching for you.

In your own words. Say "tell me when run #46 finishes, and when the web deploy succeeds", or "keep checking web until every instance runs the new version". Halon finds each thing on the resource map, says how long it will watch from how long these runs usually take, and offers to watch whenever you start something that takes a while.

Only what matters. In the dashboard each watch is one card that updates in place, with a row per thing it follows and Open the run. A failed job is reported at once, with why from its own log, and a closing line says how it ended. Each line also reaches you as a direct message in Slack, or in the chat's Slack thread.

Only reads. A watch checks as you, with your permissions, never changes anything, and keeps to a ceiling on how often it reads each provider. Stop it from the card, from Stop on any update in Slack, or by telling Halon. Agents list and stop watches with list_watches and stop_watch over MCP.
