The incident page updates live

An open incident page now keeps itself up to date. A lead assigned in Slack, a status set over the API, an action Halon adds or an alert that joins the incident shows up on the page as it happens, without a refresh. See Running an incident from the dashboard.

Only the part of the page that changed is read again, so a dialog you are typing in stays as it is. The page updates only for people who may read the incident, and a burst of changes, such as an alert storm, arrives as at most one update a second.
