One plain card for every change Halon wants to make
Every change Halon wants to make now asks on one short card, in the dashboard and in Slack alike, such as Halon wants to: restart web, with one line under it and Approve, Cancel and Details. Details shows exactly what it will send. See What Halon can do.
Approving runs it. When an approval rule needs someone else to approve a change Halon wants to make in a chat, approving it runs the change straight away, as the person who asked Halon, and Halon tells the chat how it went.
Asked where people are. The request is posted in the chat's Slack thread, so the people in the conversation see it, and its approvers are asked wherever the approval rule says. A new Default choice for where a rule asks, which new rules start on, sends a direct message to each approver and keeps the request out of the shared incidents channel. Rules saved before keep asking where they did.
Followed to the end. Once answered, the request says who decided and follows the change until it says it is done, failed or was cancelled. See Approvals.
